He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boeve and Effie Boeve; his son Jim; his siblings, Dick Boeve (Gert), Pearl Medema (Tony) and Gert Brown (Loren); his niece Anna Marie Medema; and his parents-in-law, Arie and Della Boscaljon.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Boscaljon of Rock Rapids, IA; his daughter Pat Doherty (Paul) of Magnolia, MN; his daughter-in-law Marcia Boeve-Alfano (Vince) of Luverne, MN; his grandchildren, Mikel Boeve (Leah) of Bloomington, MN, Rashel Selden (Erik) of Eden Prairie, MN, Derek Boeve (Nicole) of Eagan, MN, Sara Lingen (Anthony) of Brandon, SD, Erin Reed (Ryder) of Rochester, MN and Along; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Wollmuth (Richard) of Alexandria, MN. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, niece, nephews and other extended family.
