He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Knobloch and Freida Knobloch (Doerr); his former wife Joan Kellenberger; his wife Vickie; his daughters, Jean Knobloch and Ann Wiess; his stepdaughter Sandra Walters; his siblings, Libbie Den Hartog, Naomi Knobloch, Al Knobloch, Melvin Knobloch and Silas Knobloch; and his sister-in-law Lucy Knobloch.
He is survived by: his children, Rol Knobloch (Vick) of Helena, MT, Peggy Snyders of Rock Rapids, IA, Chuck Knobloch (Coralee) of Larchwood, IA, Barb Lesmeister (Paul) of Morris, MN, Kyle Knobloch of Luverne, MN, Phil Knobloch (Bobbi) of Lafayette, IN, Jim Knobloch (Marcy) of Elgin, IA, Lou Knobloch (Shari) of Rock Rapids, IA, Paul Knobloch (Barb) of Dayton, OH, Matt Knobloch (Maryann) of Alpharetta, GA and Ginny Stoll (Ed) of Winthrop, MN; his son-in-law Jim Weiss of Topeka, KS; his siblings, Esther Warner (Dennis), Bill Knobloch (Ellie) and Clyde Knobloch (Char); his sisters-in-law, Wilma Knobloch and Edith Knobloch; and his stepchildren, Stan Birkeland (Colleen), Ron Birkeland (Cathy), Ron Walters, Kathy Busch (Dave) and Brian Birkeland. He is also survived by 49 grandchildren, 104 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church (510 Dove Ave, Lester, IA 51242). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
