Charlene Ruth DeGooyer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Ruth DeGooyer of Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Swalve and Cecille Swalve (Hill); her brothers, Terry Swalve and Gary Swalve; her aunt Ruth Hill; her parents-in-law, Don and Geraldine DeGooyer; her brothers-in-law, Millard DeGooyer and Donald DeGooyer, Jr.; her nephew Veryl DeGooyer; and her grandson Nicholas Noah DeGooyer.
She is survived by: her husband Jim DeGooyer; her children, Todd (Angie) of St Charles, MO and Jodi of St. Peters, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Maureen DeGooyer of Schoolcraft, MI, Mae DeGooyer of Sioux Center, IA, Nelva DeGooyer of Maurice, IA and Sandra Swalve of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
