He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nyhuis and Tillie Nyhuis (Ytsma); his brothers, Joseph Nyhuis and Bob Nyhuis; and his sister-in-law Carleen Nyhuis.
He is survived by: his brother Verlyn Nyhuis of Rock Rapids, IA; and his sister-in-law Janice Nyhuis of Sioux Center, IA. He is also survived by four nieces and three nephews; and other extended family.
