She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Roemen and Magdalen Roemen (Neu); her husband Wilber; her stepmother Irene Roemen; her siblings, Helen Roemen and Walt Roemen; and her sister-in-law Sue Roemen.
She is survived by: her son Larry Timmerman (Cheryl) of Rock Rapids, IA; her granddaughter Amber Scholten (Don); her great grandchildren, Madison DeSmett (Tony), Hudson and Jaxston Scholten of Ivanhoe, MN; her grandchildren, Andrea Timmerman of Rock Rapids, IA and Dustin Timmerman (Julie); her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Brooklyn and Braxtyn of Rock Rapids, IA; and her brother Jim Roemen of Rock Rapids, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Care Initiatives Hospice-Sioux City and/or Holy Names Catholic Church – Religious Education.
