She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Quenton and Clara Mae Shaffer (Baechler); her stepfather Floyd Whitford; her son Scott Whitford; her brothers-in-law, James and Leslie Whitford; and her stepbrother Wendell Whitford.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Whitford of Robins; her children, Steven Whitford, David Whitford (Tracy) and Colleen Wirth (David Jon); her grandchildren, Chanel Whitford, Kayleigh Canny, Kelsey Howey (Kaleb), Carson Whitford, David Whitford, Candice Whitford, Brandy Whitford and Blake Whitford; her stepgranddaughters, Heather and Amber; her brothers, Stan Shaffer (Sharon), Dennis Shaffer (Anita) and Jon Shaffer (Vera); her sister-in-law Dalene Whitford; and her stepsiblings, Clark Whitford (Ebby), JoJean Whitford and Mary Wickstrom (Russell). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Lovely Lane United Methodist Church (2424 42nd St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
