He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Prouty. He is survived by: his close friends, Ed and Nancy; his wife Lelia Garner; his children, Celia Garner-Prouty of Storm Lake and Benjamin Garner-Prouty of Robins; his mother Marilyn Prouty of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings, Jane, Becky, Mike, Kathy, Mel, Mary, Tom, Mark, Jeff and Joe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
