She was predeceased by: her father Paul Welton; her husband Phil; and her son-in-law Jeff Tegeler. She is survived by: her mother Odette Welton (Stanley); her children, Jason Duran (Melissa), Tamara Vavra (Jason), Vaughn Airy (Ruthann) and Michelle Hutchinson (Greg); her grandchildren, Gatty, Lauryn, Kaitlyn, Delaney and Dalton; her nieces and nephews, Amy (Max) and Shannon (Jenny); and her siblings, Mike and Suzanne Welton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids, or the Elephant Sanctuary located in Tennessee.
