He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Maxfield (Rilling); his uncle Bobby; and his grandparents, Charles Maxfield, Joel Rilling and Mavis Rilling.

He is survived by: his father Michael Maxfield; his children, Houston and Kaylie; his siblings, Lisa (Bill) and Chad (Julie); his nieces and nephews, Taylor Marie, Austin, Taylor Michael, Wesley, Rylea, Jack and Owen; his grandmother Marie; his aunt Nancy (Steve); and his cousins, Brandon, Darren and Amanda. He is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews.
