He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Jones; his parents, Donna Ludtke and Donald Spiekermeier; and his stepfather Robert Ludtke. He is survived by: his spouse Pauline Groth; his son Jacob Spiekermeier of Cedar Rapids; his grandson Trai Jones Jr.; and his siblings, Lynn Spiekermeier (Jan) of Apache Junction, AZ and Paula Aspelund (Dan) of Shakopee, MN.
