She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mason and Gwendolyn Mason; her former husband Larry Phillip Wilson; and her siblings, Phyllis Cornwell, Mary Jo Woolman and Gerald R. Mason.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Wirt; her daughter Melissa Chambers (Travis) of Robins, IA; her stepchildren, Carl Wirt (Susan) of Davenport and Anthea Chester (Jason) of Parker; her grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Christina Pinger, Jessica Pinger, Zachary Wirt, Justin Wirt, Seth Jackson, Caleb Evans and Dylan Chester; and her siblings, Marilyn Miller (Randy), Patricia Cox and John "Jack" Mason. She is also survived by twelve great grand-children.
