He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his siblings, Mike Burns, Pat Burns (Kris), Kathy Pitlick (Jeff), Gerry Burns (Deb), Jim Burns (Dawn), Jeanne Goldsmith (Guy) and Shelli Mardesen (Heath); his father-in-law Bob Colbert; his sisters-in-law, Julie Colbert, Jean Lenz (Bryan), Steve Colbert (Kathy), Tim Colbert (Bev), Pat Colbert (Michele), John Colbert (Linda) and Doug Colbert (Barb); and also Tim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Church, Hills First Responders or the Tim Burns Memorial Fund.
