Samuel Kent Shepherd Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2023, at the age of 70, Samuel Kent Shepherd of Riverside, Iowa, born in What Cheer, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shepherd and Ethlyn Shepherd (Vandehaar). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Stewart); his son-in-law Brandon TeBockhorst; his grandchildren, Reid Kent of Kalona and Nell James of Kalona; and his siblings, Amanda Penning (Ted) of Alton, Iowa and Dan Shepherd (Susan) of Hawarden, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice in memory of Samuel.
