She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Tappan and Connie Tappan (Hastings); her brother Mark; her brother-in-law Larry Weldon; her grandparents, Carl, Rose Hastings (Bayer), Oscar and Bessie Tappan (Westfall); and her aunt Karleen Ferguson (Bob).
She is survived by: her former husband Kenny Westcott; her siblings, Bonnie Weldon of Iowa City, Becky Tubandt (Craig), Kevin Tappan (Carolyn) of Riverside and Wendy Strabala (Tom) of Ainsworth; her nephews, Eric Weldon, Matt Weldon, Andy Tappan, James Tappan, Mike Tappan, Travis Tubandt, Tyler Tubandt and Trent Tappan; her niece Carly Tappan; and her close friend Steve Porter of Joplin. She is also survived by many cousins, friends.
