With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Schwickerath in Riverside, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Elliott and Agnes Elliott (Tobin); her husband LaVern Schwickerath; her son Allan Schwickerath; and her parents-in-law, Victor Schwickerath and Rose Schwickerath.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Merfeld (Michael) and Anthony Schwickerath; her grandchildren, Ashley Lalan and Jaxon Schwickerath; and her sisters, Dea Ann Rosonke Hack and Vickie Schilling (Art). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
