She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Luse and Mabel Luse (Mahoney); her husband Richard Duder of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Patricia Duder and Thomas Duder; and her grandson Nicholas.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Duder (Deb) of Marshalltown, Beth Duder of Riverside and John Duder of Coralville; her grandchildren, Michael Duder (Amy), Michelle Duder, Lisa German (Ryan), Jamie Duder, Jonathan Duder, Kelli Duder and Katie Duder; and her sister Marilyn Laschke of Iowa City. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Joan's name.
