He was predeceased by: his parents, Advin Gingerich and Hattie Gingerich (Ledman); his wife Mary Swolley; and his siblings, Mary Fritz, Linda Zillmer, Leroy, Ralph, Orval and Lawrence Gingerich (Jake).
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Gingerich (Jason Van Voltenburg) of Grinnell, IA; his pet Tippy; and his siblings-in-law, Lowell Zillmer of Marion, IA and Donna Cline of Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A general memorial fund has been established.
