He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Steele and Crystal Steele (Johnson); and his wife Joy Turner (McMillan). He is survived by: his sons, David Steele (Diana) of Belmont, Wisconsin and Dennis Steele (Donna) of Coralville, Iowa; his grandson Clinton Steele of Houston, Texas; his stepson Hugh Turner (Melody) of Algodones; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Samuel, Chrissy and Leah; and his brother Oscar Steele (Wynne) of Riverside, Iowa. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
