It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Rose Burich of Riverside, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wes Harry and Emma Anna Sojka (Beranek); her husband Cleo Ivan Burich; her brother Norman Sojka (Verna); her brothers-in-law, Dale Burch and Robert Burich; and her nieces, Pat Hirt and Vickie Jones.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Barb Fountain of Mt. Pleasant, Vicki Johnson (Paul) of Mt. Pleasant, Missy Schintler (Joel) of Iowa City, Melanie Seeber (Mike) of Madison, Sandy Norris (Bud) of Mauldin and John Burich (Becky) of North Liberty; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Burich of Iowa City.

A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Darlene.
