He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Benson and Hazel Benson (Tangen). He is survived by: his sisters, Marvel Benson of Rochester, MN, Muriel Janneke (Andy) of Vadnais Heights, MN and Mayme Johnson (Steve) of Cottage Grove, MN; his nephew Scott Janneke (Jennifer); his nieces, Ann Janneke, Samantha Johnson and Sarah Johnson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tucker Janneke, Avery Madison, Lincoln Madison, Mikayla Janneke and Ashlee Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Orleans Lutheran Church or Orleans Cemetery Fund are preferred.
