Elaine Doubek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Doubek of Ridgeway, Iowa, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Phipps and Anna Mary Phipps (Munz); her siblings, Merle Phipps and Adah Steinmetz (Leonard); and her grandsons, Hayden and Michael Huebner.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Doubek; her stepdaughters, Julie Doubek (Barry Huebner) of Auburndale, WI, Sue Miller (Dean) of Cresco, Kathy Malek (Chuck) of Cresco and Chris Dvorak (Barry) of Cedar Falls; her daughter-in-law Gordie Neubauer of Cresco; her sister-in-law Dorothy Phipps of Lakeville, MN; her nephew Todd Neubauer; and her great grandchild Conner Ostricki. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
She semi-retired due to the onset of Alzheimer's, but she still enjoyed spending time with others.
