It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyal Pfeiler of Rickardsville, Iowa, born in Holy Cross, Iowa, who passed away on January 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Pfeiler and Brecht; his parents-in-law, John and Clara Wolf; his granddaughter Kayla Decker; his great grandchild Maddie Burke; and his in-laws, Carol Pfeiler, Donald, Dale Cook, Rose Wolf, Marvin Wolf and Francis Wolf.

He is survived by: his wife Melita Wolf; his children, Julie Neebel (Dan), Joe Pfeiler (Kathy), Janet Hess (Rod), Jim Pfeiler (Mary), John Pfeiler, Joyce Pasker (Tom) and Jolene Link (Ron); his grandchildren, Andrew Neebel, Kate Burke (Aaron), Blake Neebel (Erin), Paige Neebel (Alex Rottinghaus), Aaron Pfeiler (Laikyn), Adam Pfeiler, Livia Pfeiler, Mitch Hess (Amanda), Leah Rohrer (Lee), Chandler Pfeiler, Garrett Pfeiler, Chelsie Frost (Terry), Brianna Kluesner (Ryan), Austin Pfeiler (McKenzie), Jordyn Pfeiler (Tim Althaus), Brooke Pasker, Rachel Bergfeld (Hunter), Logan Pasker, Troy Pasker (Molly), Justin Decker (Jessica) and Ryan Decker (Becca); his siblings, Louis Pfeiler and Barb Kueter (Roger); and his in-laws, Mary Brimeyer (Donnie), Leon Wolf, Alice Cook and Carolyn Pimlott (Jim). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
