He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Theodore and Hilda Ruth Ament (Meeks); and his siblings, Glenn, Richard, Juanita and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Linna Sue Sheraden; his children, Todd Ament (Rachel) of Ollie and Kelly Townsend (Alan) of North Liberty; his grandchildren, Halie Denny (Edwin) and Emily Besco (Aaron); his stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Joey, James and Jaxson Delarm; his great grandchildren, Karson, Lilly Besco, Tristan and Audry Denny; and his sister Linda Kurth of North English. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Mike's name and cards may be mailed to Linna Ament, 500 W Moffett Street, Richland, Iowa 52585.
