He is survived by: his children, David Mickels of Wisconsin, Amanda Violette of California, Melissa DeVeau of Wisconsin, Denis Mickels of Missouri and Joey Mickels of Richland; and his brother Tim Mickels. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
