He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Duryee (Backus) and Gernard Duryee; his siblings, Katherine, Marvin, Verne, Darrell, Gordon and James; and his nephew Richard Hahn, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Klatt; his sons, Kenneth of Roy, Steven of Ogden, Robert of Iowa City and Randal of Plainfield, IA; and his siblings, Wayne of Osage, IA, Leonard of Leland, IA, Diane Semerad of Cresco, IA, Barbara Woolworth of Cresco, IA, Donna Wilson of Rochester, MN and Cherie Landers of Greene, IA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
