He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Bert Martin and Pearl Martin; and his sisters, Lois Nelson and Marian Buchanan.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Martin (Diane Reed) and Tom Martin (Candice); his grandchildren, Jessica McCulley (John), Derek Palmertree, Jacob Martin (Jenna), Michael Martin, Benjamin Martin, Lindsey Williams, Haley Martin and Elizabeth Martin; his great grandchildren, Eric McCulley, Alex McCulley and Conner Martin; his sister Margaret Lubbert; and his brother-in-law James Murray Anderson (Bobbie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
