With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Bell of Renwick, Iowa, born in Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis VanderMaten and Arnola VanderMaten (Raak). She is survived by: her husband Russell Bell of Renwick, IA; her son Matthew McCurdy (Colleen) of Schaumburg, IL; her grandchildren, Mya and Madeline; her daughter Kelli McCurdy of Renwick, IA; her pet Vinny; her siblings, Ruth Babbitt (Mark) of Fort Dodge, IA, Roger VanderMaten (Shannon Peterson) of Fort Dodge, IA and Ryan VanderMaten of Myrtle Beach, SC; and also, Tawnie Bell (William "Olie" Estlund) of Fort Dodge, IA, Alex, Emma, Eillie and Augustus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
