He is survived by: his wife Michelle Thompson of Renwick, IA; his children, Taylor Thompson of Des Moines, IA and Tanner (Heather) of Wooster, OH; his grandchildren, Elle Teryn and Emmett Gordon Thompson; his siblings, Sybil Kintz (Jerry) of Alexandria, VA, Phyllis Thompson of Eden Prairie, MN, Janet Thompson of Waterloo, IA, Kathy Martin (Gary) of Salida, CO and Bill Thompson of Renwick, IA; his mother-in-law Janice Basler of Humboldt, IA; his brother-in-law Mark Basler (Naomi) of Redondo Beach, CA; and his aunt JeNell Hilleman of State Center, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a plethora of friends.
