It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Rasmussen (Renwick, Iowa), born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rasmussen and Dorothy Rasmussen (Wilson); and his spouse Avis Barber. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Orrin (Nancy) of Vancouver, WA and Kevin Lewis (Lisa) of Goldfield, IA; his grandsons, Aaron of Vancouver, WA, James of Seattle, WA and Peter (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Lawrence, Genevieve of Vancouver, WA and Joel (Nikki); his brothers, Donald (Anita) of Webster City and David (Kay) of New Hampton; and also, Ava, Jill of Goldfield, IA, Adam (Kayla), Owen, Cora of Overland Park, KS and Sarah of Cambridge, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or will be left to the discretion of the family.
