He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Arne and Louise Arne; his brother Douglas; and his daughter Jane Quammen. He is survived by: his children, Therese Arne, Steve Arne (Bessie), Pam Horner (Brad), Linda Machmeier (Bruce), Jerry Arne (Karla), Mike Arne, Brian Arne (Jennifer), Kathleen Sullivan, Robert Arne (Joelle) and Jon Arne (Gretchen); and his wife Jean.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Wayzata.A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Tuesday, January 30, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (155 County Rd. 24, Wayzata, MN 55391).
