He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hefty and Anna Hefty (Rowley). He is survived by: his wife Glenda of Renwick; his sons, Jared Hefty, Emma Dixey of London, Shane Hefty and Amy Hughes of Windsor Heights; his grandson Aiden Hefty; and his siblings, Frank Hefty, Lu Ann Hefty of Caty, Bruce Hefty, Ruth Engelman of Hardy, Rose Wubker and Denny Wubker of Des Moines.
