He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Eilers and Anna Eilers (Harms); and his wife Virginia Poulsen. He is survived by: his children, Calvin Eilers (Lynne) of Urbandale and Lorraine Wood of Waukee; his grandchildren, Ashley Davis (David), Erica Nesbit (Paul), Alex Wood of Dallas, TX and Jacob Wood of Dallas, TX; his great grandchildren, Sophia Davis, Johnny Davis and Elliott Nesbit; and his brother LaVerne Eilers (Kay) of Aplington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
