She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schaefer and Dulces Schaefer (Goebel); her husband Donald; her daughter Julie Bruggeman; her son-in-law Jay Murphy; her brother L. Thomas Schaefer; and her parents-in-law, Henry, Regina Ortmann (Dalhoff), Joe Ortmann (Eileen), Bill Ortmann, Dr. Lou Ortmann and Melvin Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Vonnahme (Tim) of Las Vegas, NV, Cathy Fleming (Bob) of Bloomington, IL, Donna Murphy of Boise, ID, Trish Ortmann (Tim) of Boise, ID, Helen Seibel (Don), Joan Ortmann (Richard Rubesch) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Maggie Hoffmann (Ben) of Minnetonka, MN, Bill Ortmann (Brenda) of Remsen and Amy Ortmann of Sioux Falls, SD; her son-in-law Mark Bruggeman (Joli) of Larchwood, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Koch of Remsen and Betsy Ortmann of Festus, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
