He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Schilmoeller and Elizabeth Schilmoeller (Staab); and his former wife Evelyn Krogman. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Weinreich of Remsen; his children, Mark Schilmoeller (Tammy) of Remsen, Donna Heese (Gregg) of Le Mars, Jennifer Rethwisch (Stuart) of Victor, IA, Suzie Schilmoeller (Raymond Meyer) of Le Mars, Bill Schilmoeller (Angie) of Le Mars, Carol Moore (Ron) of Sioux City and Dan Schilmoeller (Katie Fricke) of North Platte, Neb.; his son-in-law Regan Feller of Le Mars; and his stepson Pat Weinreich (June Pallesen) of Remsen. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 arriving in March; 3 brothers, 2 sisters; 1 sister-in-law, numerous in laws and many extended family and friends.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed, visitation with family present will be 4-7 p. m. with a vigil prayer service at 5 p. m. on Friday at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
