He is survived by: his parents, Herman Donkelaar and Christina Van Donkelaar (De Koter); his spouse Della Rae Ringel; his children, Mike Staab of Remsen, Teran Cross of Sioux City, Travis Loutsch of Ida Grove and Tanda Smith of Battle Creek; his sisters, Carol Van, Hul of Rock Valley, Debbie Van Donkelaar of Sioux Center and Marcia; and his siblings-in-law, Lylis Van Donkelaar of Maurice and Gerard Zeutenhorst of Rock Valley. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
