He was predeceased by: his mother Sylvia Roder (Klein); his siblings, Gerald, Jim, Paul Roder, Janice Klein and Karen Schemmel; his parents-in-law, Alex and Mary Stoffel; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Roeder, Merlyn Klein, Earl Stoffel, Lois Stoffel, Sister Joan Stoffel and Clarice Roder; his niece Julie Roder; his nephew Michael Roder; and his father Paul Eisele.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Remsen; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Schemmel, Robert Stoffel (Sharon), Helen Roder, Betty Roder and Margaret Landgraf (George). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Fisch Funeral Home (310 Fulton St, Remsen, IA 51050). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church (121 E 4th St, Remsen, IA 51050).
