He is survived by: his wife Margie Harpenau of Remsen, IA; his children, Rick Frericks (Mary Pat) of Remsen, IA, Randy Frericks (Kim) of Le Mars, IA, Mitzie Schamel (Duke) of Huntington Beach, CA, Fred Frericks (Mary) of Remsen, IA and Peggy Frericks of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Danielle Rischling, Katherine Collins (Michael), Kyle Frericks (Ashley), Justin Frericks (Katie), Gina Hageman (Adam), Trenton Schamel, Dane Schamel, Brittney Sposeto (Chad), Mitch Frericks (Josie), Tyler Tracey (Shelby) and Paige Anthony (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Stella, Leo, Braelee, Remy, Oaklyn, Haisley, Gracynn, Jaelynn, Chase, Nora, Madelyn, Aubrey, Stone, Berkley, Mia, Lane and Palmer; his siblings, Muriel Meneely and Shirley Scholer; and his in-laws, Vernell Chapman, Ray Harpenau (Shirley), Tom Harpenau (Sharon), Paul Galles and Ione Harpenau.
