He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Gustafson and Dorothy Gustafson (Lindblad); his brother Harold "Mokey" Gustafson; his parents-in-law, Mary and David Bennett; and his sister-in-law Lisa Fiedler.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Bennett of Remsen, Iowa; his children, Paula Larsen (Larry) of Ponca and Shane Gustafson (Kim) of Kingsport, Tennessee; his grandsons, Andrew Larsen (Mallory) of Fremont and Jonathan Larsen (Nina) of Brandon; his great grandchild Declan Larsen of Brandon; his siblings, Debbie Perrone (John) of Schertz and Mike Gustafson of Frankfurt, Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Sleezer (Robert) of Aurelia, Daniel Bennett (Renee) of Aurelia and Jeff Fiedler of Cherokee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Paul's honor to a charity of your choice.
