With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Niehus of Remsen, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Coulson and Ione Coulson (Benton); her husband Ronald Niehus; her parents-in-law, Joe and Rose Niehus; her siblings, James Coulson, Coke Dickson (Bud), Donald Coulson, Patty Whalen (Dean), Mary Walker and Jan Beavers; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Schmitz and Randy Voss.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Niehus (Carolyn), Kim Niehus Nacke of Remsen and Karen Eggers (Shane Schuman) of Reinbeck, IA; her grandchildren, Michael Niehus (Katy) of Polk City, IA, Carrie Weiler (Aaron) of Elk Horn, NE, Brian Niehus (Toni) of LeMars, IA and Austyn Smith; her great grandchildren, Harper, Henley, Hadley Niehus, Braydon Wurth (Tyra Nance), Brycen, Bayla Weiler, Braya, Braxton and Briggs Niehus; her great great grandchild Aurora Wurth; her siblings, Tom Coulson (Darlene) of Sioux City, IA, Bill Coulson (Sharon) of Tucker, GA and Kathy Deignan (Bob) of Sioux City, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Coulson of Sioux City, IA, Esther Schmitz of Carroll, IA and Carole Voss of Cherokee, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
