It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Heidesch of Remsen, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heidesch and Armella Heidesch (Galles); his brothers, Louis and Bill (Shirley); his granddaughter Lindsay Heidesch; and his in-laws, Joe Minten, Paul Minten (Rita), Esther MacClure (James), Rosemary O'Gara (Bill), Jim Nolan, Vernon Staab, John Ungs and Gordon Grieve.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Minten of Remsen; his children, Ken Heidesch (Ann) of Granville, IA, Pete Heidesch (Sharon) of Remsen, IA, Anne Von Arb (Dennis) of Alton, IA, Nancy Hyland of Glenwood, IA, Bob Heidesch (Vicky) of Remsen, IA, Lee Heidesch (Cheryl) of Papillion, NE and Carl Heidesch of Dubuque, IA; his sisters, Phyllis Ungs, Holly Nolan, Mary Grieve and Rosie Grage (Gary); and his in-laws, Marvin Minten (Doris), Lloyd Minten, Harold Minten (Martha), Edith Staab, Helen Shockey (Fred) and Carol Schemmel (Jim). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
