She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Kunkel and Mary Kunkel (Thill); her husband Eugene Wurth (Gene) of Mary's Church; her daughters, Jolene Johnson and Diane Kelly; her brothers, Orville Kunkel (Colleen), Duane Kunkel (Shirley) and Marvin Kunkel (Darlene); her in-laws, Don Ellensohn, Shirley Felts (John), Milo, Bill Wurth and Wayne Heidesch; and her sister-in-law Donna Wurth.
She is survived by: her children, Ron (Trish) of Remsen, IA, Ken (Michelle) of Remsen, IA, Pat (Laura) of Remsen, IA, Jacquie Hansen (Cliff) of LeMars, IA, Tim (Roxanne) of LeMars, IA, Chuck (Tracey) of Remsen, IA, Kathy Hanson of Remsen, IA, Karla Pierce (Lance) of Remsen, IA and Doug (Melissa) of Kingsley, IA; her son-in-law Jim Kelly of Kansas City, KS; her sisters, Shirley Ellensohn and Mary Jo Peters (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Steve Wurth (Doris), Jerry Wurth, Chet Wurth (Mary Alice), Nick Wurth (Marlene), Wayne Wurth (Mary Joyce), Vernon Wurth (Barbara), Betty Niehus, Joyce Heidesch, Martha Wurth (Pod) and Trudy Wurth. She is also survived by 28 Grandchildren; 26 Great-grandchildren; 2 Great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Fisch Funeral Home (310 Fulton St, Remsen, IA 51050). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church (121 E 4th St, Remsen, IA 51050). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (121 E 4th St, Remsen, IA 51050).
