He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Krier and Vi Krier (Konz); his siblings-in-law, Irvin and Ethel Ruba; his nephew Adam Krier; and his brother-in-law Jim Wurth.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ruba; his children, Tom Krier (Jennifer) of Le Mars, IA, Dan Krier (Sara) of Remsen, IA, Julie Kneip (Kirk) of Le Mars, IA and Steve Krier of Remsen, IA; his grandchildren, Sidney, RJ, Colt Krier, Kaleb, Ella and Lydia Kneip; and his siblings, Jerry Krier (Sandy) of Remsen, IA, Nancy Augustine (Dick) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Jan Scheitler (Stan) of Remsen, IA, Connie Plathe (Bob) of Remsen, IA, Bev Bacan (Tom) of Remsen, IA and Ron Krier (Rose) of Remsen, IA. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
