He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wittkop and Elizabeth Wittkop (Mack); his siblings, Irvin Wittkop (Alice), Bob Wittkop (Myrt) and Noreen Sims; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Boever (Jim), Shirley Kunkel (Don), Jerry Dunne and Mark Stromberg.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Heidesch of Remsen; his children, Dave Wittkop (Mary Ann) of San Francisco, CA, John Wittkop of Johnston, IA, Joe Wittkop (Julie) of Ankeny, IA, Lisa Groepper (Tom) of Council Bluffs, IA and Jane Scheitler (Bill) of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Rebekah Wittkop, Matt, Megan, Jenna Wittkop, Nick, Brad, Abby Groepper, Mike, Shelby and Molly Scheitler; his siblings, Jim Wittkop (Mary) of Broomfield, CO, Wayne Wittkop (Judy) of Le Mars, IA, Caryl Dunne of Sioux City, IA and Mary Lohff (Gary) of Yankton, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Stromberg and Marlene Westphalen. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
