He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Adams and JoAnn L. Adams (Daub); and his brother Mark Adams. He is survived by: his children, Jason Adams of Spencer and Jennifer Fuentes (Victor) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Housley, Dennis James Sanderson, Levi Sanderson and Noah Sanderson; his siblings, Rodney Adams, Debra Bowers, Elliot Adams, Stacey Adams, Tina Adams, Karen LaCour and Terry Adams; and his aunts and uncles, Melva Champion, Eddie Adams and Frank Daub. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
