He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson of Remsen, IA; his son Scott Vander Hamm (Melissa) of Ingalls, KS; his grandchildren, Jhett and Logan; his daughter Stacy Frost (Neil) of Marshall, MN; his grandchildren, Landon and Salem; his sister Lois Ann Barbour of Granberry, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Pageler (Stan) of LeMars, IA and Eugene Johnson (Josephine) of Palmdale, CA.
