She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Thill and Kunkel; her husband Donald Arens; her parents-in-law, Ferd and Francis Arens; her grandson Ben Arens; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Loutsch, Ron Ruhland and Evelyn Gruchow (Allan).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Arens (Barb) of Sioux City, IA, Karen Sherman of Sioux Falls, SD, Keith Arens (Mary) of Remsen, IA, Connie Sherman of Tamarac, FL and Michael Arens of Remsen, IA; and her sisters, Joyce Loutsch of Remsen and Ellen Ruhland of Remsen. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.
Keeping to social distancing guidelines, visitation with family present will be 4-7 p. m. on Tuesday, there will be a parish rosary and vigil prayer service all at 5p. m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
