With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn F. (McKenna) Meyer of Remsen, Iowa, who passed away on October 24, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement McKenna and Eva McKenna (Ives); her husband Francis Meyer; her parents-in-law, Bernard and Lena Meyer; her son Ronald Eugene Meyer; her siblings, Cecil McKenna (Marlene), Kenny McKenna (JoAnn), Joe McKenna, Mildred Jean McKenna and Mary Ellen Maier (Ernest "Skip" III); and her siblings-in-law, Bernadine Norris, Joyce DeKok (Ludy), Chris Ketelsen, David Brubaker and Raymond Downey.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Meyer of Sioux City, IA, William Meyer of Anthon, IA, Mary Deichmann (John) of Marcus, IA, Lynn Petersen (Thomas H. III) of Anthon, IA and Nancy Davis (Jeff) of Bennet, NE; her grandchildren, Lauren Williams (Alex) of Omaha, NE, Megan Schuck (Kyle) of Cherokee, IA, Michael Deichmann of Denver, CO, Sean Meyer, Cody, Keaton, Caden McCormick of Anthon, IA, Brandon Meyer (Raquel) of Moville, IA, Kyla and Bo Davis of Bennet, NE; her great grandchildren, Vera Schuck of Cherokee, IA and Layla Williams of Omaha, NE; her siblings, William McKenna (Coleen) of Garretson, SD and Catherine Ronfeldt (Clayton) of Grinnell, IA; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Ketelsen of Correctionville, IA and Mary Ann Brubaker of McCook Lake, SD; and her close friend Gayla Wilson of Anthon, IA.. She is also survived by her husband, children, and numerous family members.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are strongly encouraged and social distancing rules will apply during all services.
