He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Walters; his brothers-in-law, Bill Walters and Burt Adams; and his nephew Mike Adams. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Raub of Reinbeck; his son David (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cade Isenhower (Courtney), Aryn Dettmering (Drew), Kyle Isenhower and Cory Isenhower; and his siblings, Donald Isenhower (Lola) and JoAnn Adams. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
