He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McFate Bartling (Faught) and Roger Bartling; his siblings-in-law, Leonard and Bette Bidwell; his great grandchild Mia Seymour; his siblings-in-law, Dick Wolf and Cindy Ealy; and his nephews, Cody Ealy and Drew Bidwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sue of Reinbeck; his children, Pam Werner (Rob) of Gilbertville, Missy Haughey (Willy) of Tama and Sean McFate (Sheri) of Toledo; his grandchildren, Brandon Haughey of Waterloo, Charity Seymour of Gilbertville, Cortney Slack of Tama, Aubree McFate of Toledo and Autumn McFate of Toledo; his great grandchildren, Malia Slack, Abel Gonzalez and Audriana Gonzalez; his sisters, Noel Duffy (Paul) of Tama and Kenne Wolf of Tama; and his brother-in-law Mike Bidwell of Tama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Mike's name to his family, which will be determined by the family.
