He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Ella Smith (Ramsey); his wife Daphne A. Robinson; and his brother Harold. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Smith of Cedar Rapids and Jerry Smith (Julie) of Reinbeck. He is also survived by two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
